To all knitters at St. Johns

Thankyou for the continuous stream of Beanie hats that were knitted during the year.

To date we have received 132.

These have been distributed, as the cold spell set in , to the Croydon Nightwatch team who were

so pleased to be able to distribute in the bitter weather.

Following a request from the Prison Chaplin at Wandsworth we sent 40 hats to them.

Our last 50 have been sent to Ukraine via our young guests and they have been passed on, via their

Scout group to a home for children who have lost homes and family during the fighting.

They have promised photos . I will pass these on when received.

All groups have said they would appreciate any more that are made so we can keep knitting .

I have 3 completed blankets to pass on from the previous project with some more

squares waiting to be made up if you have any extras around.
