The first in what we hope will be a series of organ recitals played on our world class Frobenius organ given by local talented and up and coming organists. Jerry has been supporting our weekly services and we are very grateful to him for offering to be our first recitalist.
Whether you come to our 10am Mass and stay or come just for the free recital, you’ll receive a warm welcome and cuppa here at St John’s!

Thank you for joining one of our services today whether online or in person.

We are grateful for any donation you can make towards our continued mission, ministry and maintenance of our parish church. To make a one off donation please click here.

Installation at Southwark Cathedral . Now until 10th October. Beautiful and reflective for this difficult time we are sharing.
Gratitude is a spectacular outdoor public art installation which commemorates this extraordinary moment in time and shows thanks to key workers.

Bev at the food bank says thanks for your continued support. These are the items they most need this month. Donations can be brought to our Harvest quiz tonight at St John’s Primary School, left in our porch at church, taken to the food bank (Mondays 9am-12 noon or Thursdays 12 noon-3pm) or left in the donation box at the Shirley co-op. We are grateful for any donation you can make. Our parish, like all parishes in the Church of England, has to finance itself. Without financial support from our users, we would not be able to maintain the current activities of mission and ministry nor maintain our beautiful grade II listed Gilbert Scott building.
Thank you for financially supporting our parish.
