Hi all, I have had to postpone the showing of RESPECT until the 5th March. This is a great film and I cant wait to see you all.

We watched in our gardens and in our churchyard, we ate fantastic cake, drank tea and coffee and had a great time. Bernard was on hand to give advise and help us with identification.

St John’s will be hosting a series of lunches on the Saturdays in Lent from 12-2pm in the Tamberlin Room. The lunches are hosted by volunteers to raise money for a charity of their choice and so donations are asked for (but are optional!).
Funds raised (including any Gift Aid) are split between the charity being supported (75%) and St John’s (25%). Lunches start on Sat 12th March so come along to enjoy excellent food and company while raising money for good causes – many of us find an excuse to go every week!
Everyone is welcome at this Service on 23rd January at St George the Martyr, Shirley.
It is a lovely opportunity to be together, either in-person or online, to celebrate our unity and pray for our Christian witness in our community.
Use this link https://youtu.be/jmDhdTVnrgQ or just come to St George’s (there will be masks and social distancing.)
Please pray for the work of Churches Together at this time when healing is so needed in our lives and communities.
