October Cinema – twice the fun

Our Cinema returns on October 15th

with a matinee and an evening film

at 4pm in conjunction with SJSA we will be showing “The Bad Guys” – After a lifetime of legendary heists, notorious criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula are finally caught. To avoid a prison sentence, the animal outlaws must pull off their most challenging con yet — becoming model citizens. Under the tutelage of their mentor, Professor Marmalade, the dubious gang sets out to fool the world that they’re turning good.

at 7:30pm we will be showing “Downton Abbey – a New Era” – From award-winning creator Julian Fellowes comes the motion picture event DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA. The much-anticipated cinematic return of the global phenomenon reunites the beloved cast as they go on a grand journey to the South of France to uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess’ newly inherited villa

All our films are shown with subtitles so everyone can enjoy the film.

Brambles cleared on bank by school gate, planting in progress

Bug hotel prepared also a small pond to attract bees and insects

Flower arrangers are using biodegradable OASIS

Grass and wildflower area to replace old compost heap

New compost bin filling up nicely for next spring

Two new water butts filling up now it has started to rain again

Downton Abbey – a new Era – Postponed

As our film night fell within the period of public mourning for the death of Queen Elizabeth II we have chosen to postpone this event. Anyone that has purchased tickets online will receive a refund over the next few days.

Church open from 12-1pm today

Following our time of prayer for Her Majesty the Queen last night, we will be tolling the church bell from 12-1pm today. During that time the church will be open for private prayer and a book of condolence will be available to sign.
