Lent Vigil for Climate Justice

Join us from Ash Wednesday, Wednesday 14 February, as we vigil 24 hours a day, for 10 days at home of UK Parliament, Westminster. 

We will gather with Arocha, Cafod, Christian Climate Action, Green Christian, JPIT, Operation Noah, the Salvation Army, and Tearfund. Together we will pray for creation, for our global neighbours and for bold climate action from the UK Government.

Pray for an hour, pray for a day! Join the vigil as we declare, No Faith in Fossil Fuels.

Utopians Unlimited present “The Mikado”

The fantastic Utopians Unlimited are back with us at St Johns, this time performing The Mikado

The date of the performance is the 24th February at 19:30.

Nanki-Poo loves Yum-Yum but she’s betrothed to Ko-Ko, the new Lord High Executioner. When the Mikado orders a beheading, Nanki-Poo and Ko-Ko try to come to an arrangement that doesn’t involve anyone losing their head – literally!

Season of Lay Ministry

The Season will take place between Sunday 7 January and Sunday 28 January, during Epiphanytide.  The Season is designed to encourage people to think about whether God might be calling them into new things. We hope that the Season of Lay Ministries will encourage people to think about whether God is calling them into one of the recognised Lay Ministries that we offer here in the Diocese of Southwark or simply into new things in their life.
