Good Friday services
As part of the Maundy Thursday service the church has been stripped ready for good Friday, the day Jesus dies on the cross for us.
Good Friday means we have a lot going on at St Johns. Here are the service times
9am Morning Prayer
10-11am Children’s Liturgy
1-1.50pm Stations of the Cross
2-3.00pm Liturgy of the Passion
Followed by Hot Cross Buns in the Vicarage

Today, Christians mark the Last Supper. On the eve of his death, Jesus washed the disciples’ feet, saying: “I give you a new commandment: love one another as I have loved you.”

What is Maundy Thursday?
Maundy Thursday is the day we remember Jesus sharing the Last Supper with his disciples before his death. Jesus washed the disciples’ feet. We will be recreating this act tonight.
